My birthday!

I had my birthday on December 3rd. I am turning 7. Usually on our birthday we don't do school. I got blow pens, there are stencils and then you blow on the pen and out come colors and they change when you put the magic pens on them. Soon I'll post photos on Tuesday.
I wish it was snowing now. We actually have snow you know. When it's really cold ice actually falls from the sky. We've seen a whole chunk of it!

Rollerblading

At P.E. were were rollerblading. I can go down hills, we have a little hill right in our property and so mommy and I go on the hill with our skates, of course we know how to skate up, so we skate up and we don't move our feet and roll down. If we want to go faster we'll move our feet. I can do a little trick where I go down the hill diagnally and turn around twice, of course I always bonk my bum but it's fun. I never got to do it right. Then I started doing the basics again, going around and around and just did the hill.
I can skate all by myself that's why I can do the hill thingee too.

Parent Day

On parent day we went to Wacky Wood House and we have so much fun there's a huge frog swing that you'll see in the picture and as you see I can push myself all the way up by myself. Sometimes I use my kick start othertimes I do it how my mom tells me to, either way I can push it by myself.




Later at home, we ate marshmallows and set up mattresses in our yard and watched on a huge projector "Little Lord Fauntleroy". I liked it a lot, the fun part was when the naughty lady came. The naughty lady said she was a wife and her son was supposed to become the Earl but she was lying. Of course, she wasn't telling the truth. So then they found out and they made Little Lord Fauntleroy the Earl instead. He was such a nice boy and he made his grumpy grandfather become happy. Mom knew all the words to that song that the little boy sang. What were they, by the way, mom? "Oh Dem Golden Slippers."

Splashing Each Other with Water

This morning, we had Family Fun Day! Usually we have Family Day and that when we're just with our families but some days we have Family Fun Day which is the whole home put together to have a family day.

The way you play the game is you get your bathing suit on, and get some buckets and cups and water balloons and water guns and fill them up with water. Then you splash them, then when you run out you fill it up again. You divide up into two teams and do that, it's a very fun game.

My favorite part of today was having devotions with the adults. We read 'The Insane King', a story about Nebuchadnezzar, listened to dramas and sang some songs.

I'm glad Allan didn't say Benny, when Baachan asked us who was the brother of Shadrach and Meshach? Allan said Abednego- you know in Veggie Tales they say 'Rack, Shack and Benny' which is very silly.

La Foret

La Foret has a big swimming pool and a little kids swimming pool. I swim in the water and then there's some pictures about water ballet that I'll show here. I was just dancing in the water but I call it water ballet because it looks like it.





There's like a huge school that comes and they change their clothes right away and dive in the pool. Then they all have to sit and wait for their swimming lessons till it's their turn. Their nice swimming teacher taught me how to swim for free.



I'm learning how to swim and I can swim in the shallow end, well, you know the little pool. And then there's like this really nice garden with lots of butterflies and flowers. Oh and last time we went we saw a butterfly that was so brown he looked like a dead leaf! There's a really nice garden and sometimes we go for games and activities while the adults have a prayer meeting. It's really fun.

Wacky Wood House

I haven't blogged in a long time because the internet was off and I didn't have anything to say.

When I was at Wacky Wood House, we had lots of fun. Wacky Wood House is a playground. There are slides, monkey bars, climbing ropes, swings. Inside the house you can play inside soccer, foos ball. You can also play, there's like this dolly house that you can go inside. They have toy food even. You can buy cookies and juice, cheese toast, pop corn, peanuts and yummy stuff.

The Puppet Show

This morning was 'prayer day'. We made this puppet show of how Jesus turned the five loaves and fishes into millions of bread and fish. Tonight we did a song, "Once a boy had two small fish." We did puppets with it. I had to fix Alan's script because it fell in the trash can. The first time we did it we didn't do so good but the second time was REALLY GOOD! Thank you Jesus, Bye.

Dress up

I dress up like different things. Mermaids, cooks, fairies, ballet dancers, princesses and pirates. What else do I like to dress up as.... I'm thinking to myself. I want to try dressing up as a mommy, a zebra, a giraffe, a dog, a cat- I did that once. I dressed up like a Blue Russian (which is a kind of blue cat.)
I was wearing a wig in that picture, that is mom's. She drew me some wings as you can see from the picture on top.
Tonight, I dressed up like a Hawaiian. I wore a blue skirt thingee mom says it's a sarong and a I put a black scarf on because it is activity night and I put a flower in my hair.
I like dress up because then you can act as different silly characters. :)

Pick Ups

When we go on pick ups we have so much fun. We go on pick ups because we pick up fish, meat, chicken, milk and etc...
Do you know how fun it is? We go to a bakery where we see where bread is made. First, they punch it, punch, punch, punch. Then the roll it up into buns or normal bread and sometimes cup cakes. And then they put it into the big merry-go-round thing and then they close it and it goes round and round while it cooks them. Then she gives some to us. Yum yum!

Last's night's Communion

Last night it was activity. All the kids had to dress up like Jesus' disciples. Rory was Jesus, of course, and I was Mary the mother and Savannah was Mary Magdalene, Allan was Mathew, as you know there's a Mathew in the Bible. Rory got to break the bread and take the first sip of wine. Next time I'm gonna be Jesus. Ha ha.

Fun at Didi's World :-)

Do you know what there is at Didi's World? There's ferris wheel, a pirate ship, battery cars. Battery cars you're not supposed to bump into eachother but bumper cars you are otherwise they wouldn't be called bumper cars, of course. I really like the Pirate Ship. It almost made me stand up because I felt like I was gonna fall out. At the top I always stand up because it pushes my bottom up. I heard the pirate ship in Japan goes in a full circle. I think there's something to protect you or they wouldn't make it. I really think so.
I first went to Didi's world when I was a tiny baby as you can see.

Brain Work

Your brain helps you to think. Like in your school work for instance. If you don't think you won't know where you're going and you might crash. What use is eyes, if you can't think?
Do not sit too close to computers. I almost got my brain zapped but Kingdom's brain (*her classmate's big brother 12 years old) is too hard to zap because he is much older. So you know what we did? We got a chair and put the chair far away from the computer and I put the keyboard on my lap and then Rory (*another classmate 7 years old) got a book and put the mouse on it because you can't put that on your lap, it's too wiggly.

My Older Age

It is very nice to be older because, I do not like to be a baby because they talk silly. And I also can do things better than babies. Silly babies that drool. I am tired.

My young age

When I was little, I liked to swim. I liked to play with my dog and I also liked to dance. Of course or I wouldn't show that picture there.
And we lived in Bugolobi. I want to go back there but we can't because a really rich lady bought the whole house. It's nice to see they refurnished the whole house right up to the gate.
I wish Scampy hadn't died. He was my favorite dog. Well I guess Scampy is watching me from heaven because I know he's probably watching me write about him. Well anyway I'm supposed to be talking about my young age, whatever I called it.
I'm so glad that I'm big now. I'm actually in dance class now, finally.

Dogs and Cats

I have a lot of pets. Dogs and Cats. I have a real cat named Diesel because of his loud purr which sounds like a diesel engine. There is a dog in our room who is such a rascal. If he bites you and you put your hand up he still hangs on it!
